Clowns for Kids is making a difference

July 18, 2010  |  Community

In partnership with the long standing, highly successful Toronto Celebrity Clown Program and our local JCI Santa Claus parade, the Rotary Club of Brantford developed the Clowns for Kids program in 2008.

The 2010 Rotary Clown for Kids program is held in conjunction with the JCI Brantford Santa Claus parade on Saturday, November 27, 2010. Clowns for Kids are generous members of the community who dress up as clowns as an irreverent and unique way of blending fun with serious charity fundraising.

The Rotary Clowns for Kids lead the JCI Brantford Santa Claus Parade and act as goodwill ambassadors by greeting the crowd and shaking hands with children and families.

Clowns for Kids is a keystone fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Brantford. Funds raised from the Rotary Clowns for Kids program support the Lansdowne Children’s Centre and the Boys and Girls Club of Brantford.

Please help the Rotary Club of Brantford support local children’s charities. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter and stay tuned to find out how you can be involved.
